Security Bank recognised for Best New Product Launch Strategy focused on sustainability and customer needs

Security Bank’s new product launch strategy effectively meets the needs of environmentally conscious and budget-savvy consumers by providing features such as waived annual fees forever, 1% cashback on online purchases, and low 2.5% interest rate. Since its launch in February 2024, the bank has exceeded its acquisition targets, and monthly spend is currently double the average spend of cardholders of previous no annual-fee variant. The card is made of 100% recycled PVC, certified by the ICMA Ecolabel Standard, highlighting the bank’s commitment to sustainability, by significantly reducing the environmental impact associated with traditional credit cards.
