Standard Chartered appoints Pedro Cardoso as global head of digital commerce

Standard Chartered has appointed Pedro Cardoso global head of digital commerce. He joined the retail banking division on August 2.

His most recent role was at Emirates NBD, where he was head of multi-channel, CRM and digital transformation.

Last year Standard Chartered launched an innovation lab called the eXellerator in Singapore, which has hired a significant number of fintech specialists.

Cardoso previously worked at Saxo Bank and Banco Espirito Santo.
