Capital Group appoints head of product development for Asia and Europe
Capital Group, one of the largest and most experienced investment companies in the world, with assets under management of over $2.7 trillion has appointed Kat Ferris as head of product development for Asia and Europe.
Based in London, Ferris reports to Alexandra Haggard, head of product and investment services for Asia and Europe. She will build and lead a team responsible for product development, governance and product management of Capital Group’s investment range for clients in Asia and Europe. Her responsibilities include overseeing new fund launches across equity, fixed income and multi-asset as the firm expands its offering for investors.
She has more than 16 years of experience in asset management with a focus on the product function within Asian and European markets. She joins from Morgan Stanley Investment Management where she was head of international product for four years. Her responsibilities included product strategy; the development, launch and maintenance of EMEA investment funds for retail and institutional clients; and the development of product governance policy. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, she worked as a product manager at Robeco.
