BNP Paribas has reshuffled the executive of its wealth management division. One of the units affected by the change is the Swiss business in Geneva. BNP Paribas appointed Hubert Musseau as CEO for Switzerland and emerging markets based in Geneva, the bank said in a statement. Musseau’s appointment takes effect immediately.
Musseau hitherto managed the wealth-management unit Luxembourg & International Europe. He has been with the bank since 1996 and moved to the private-banking division as head of risk in 2005.
Musseau later was appointed chief operating officer, before taking the position as deputy CEO of the Sao Paulo branch for one-and-a-half years. Pierre Vrielinck, Musseau’s predecessor as Swiss CEO, was appointed as head of wealth management in Asia Pacific. He had been in charge of Switzerland and emerging markets for almost three years.
