BMO Wealth Management (U.S.) announced the appointment of Wallace Harris as the Head of BMO Harris Financial Advisors (BHFA), leading a team focused on providing a comprehensive range of financial planning services and investment solutions for their clients.
Harris joined BMO nearly a decade ago and has more than 25 years of experience in financial services. He will report to both Darrel Hackett, President, BMO Wealth Management (U.S.) and Alex Dousmanis-Curtis, Group Head, U.S. Retail and Business Banking, BMO Harris Bank.

Prior to his new position, Harris was the Head of Customer Experience Execution, BMO Harris Bank—driving branch transformation, customer experience, sales effectiveness, strategy and delivering growth for the U.S. Personal Banking Teams. Harris' previous responsibilities as Regional President also included enhancing customer loyalty in his respective territory.
Harris has received several honors during his tenure in the financial industry, and currently serves as a Director for the boards of Metropolitan Family Services and BMO Harris Financial Advisors. He is on the Board of Directors of St. Ignatius College Prep, and also serves on the School Programs Committee for the board. Harris holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame.
Harris will lead a strong bench of financial advisors, who will work collaboratively with the Retail Banking Sales Leaders to deliver integrated banking and wealth management solutions to the mass affluent client base through the Premier Services Program. William Crain supports Harris as Chief Operating Officer, leading various –operational and acquisition –related initiatives.
Crain has been instrumental in developing an integrated proprietary client management and reporting system. Furthermore, Jennifer Uhri has been overseeing field operation and customer experience for the business since 2015 and has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.
