Best Social Media Engagement Initiative is by Ping An Bank

  • The winning bank introduced a digital avatar that matches the behavior of young customers. The bank uses it to interact with them on social media platforms like Bilibili, the largest youth online community in China. 
  • In 2023, the winning bank will be in the metaverse adding new experiences. This will provide customers real time interactive experience with the bank to explore their new banking products.
  • As a result of this campaign, the bank attracted more than one million fans and issued more than 200,000 savings cards. Through this initiative, it generated total amount of loans exceeding $2.5billion.
