This bank scored 62 out of 100 in The Asian Banker's eight-dimensional scorecard and emerged as the winner beating out other banks in China, Taiwan and Australia.
The bank excelled in the open banking platform, digital sales, launching artificial intelligence, cloud-enabled customer-centric digital initiatives and seamlessly integrating its digital and physical touchpoints.
Leveraging a robust application programming interface (API) gateway with over 240 existing APIs, the bank strengthened its open banking platform and integrated its services with partner platforms. As a result, new-to-bank customers increased from 10% in 2021 to 18% in 2022.
It registered 72% of digitally originated sales in seven major top-line product categories, which is among the highest in the region.
