Design of banking capabilities of NPF Direct was centred on reducing the turnaround time for transactions with notifications ad service request being automated. Together with a security focused model, NBF Direct serves to offer an even more secure, convenient and reliable banking experience to customers.

The Bank has recorded a positive trend where online transactions undertaken by its corporate customers are increasing month-to-month while manual transactions are declining. Since 2014, the NBF Direct has encouraged an increase in electronic penetration of all transactions from 8% to 41%. This reflects the surging confidence of clients in using NBF Direct for their value-bearing transactions.

The Frictionless Transaction Awards recognised both traditional and non-traditional players providing outstanding customer-centric solutions, connections and access channels to users of transaction services that were creatively designed to give better user experience, efficiency, speed, flexibility and cost effectiveness.
