The bank’s “Super Fast Loans” was able to generate significant improvements for online loan placement and customer experience

MB Bank is able to provide funding to its customers within three minutes through its “Super Fast Loans” mobile banking product. The transaction process for customers was made easier by automatically estimating customer credit based on their loan history with the bank and other credit institutions, verifying transaction by digital one-time password and registration using e-KYC. This product significantly contributed to the bank’s revenue for the year and converted more customers to become mobile app users. More than that, this product helped decrease cash transactions in the country.

Given the relatively low car penetration in Vietnam, MB Bank strategically tapped both bank and non-bank customers by leveraging online and offline channels. It demonstrated a strong proposition in improving customer experience, hence bringing the bank both top-line growth and new customers by year end.
