Nguyen Manh Tuong, Executive Vice Chairman and CEO of MoMo, has spearheaded the transformation of MoMo from a payment app into a comprehensive super app. By gaining a 60% market share in the e-wallet sector, MoMo has firmly established itself as the leading digital wallet and integrated financial services platform in Vietnam.

MoMo became the preferred payment method during the COVID-19 pandemic and tripled its customer base to over 31 million users. It also offered microloans. 

Under his leadership, MoMo formed robust partnerships with major banks, becoming the foremost partner for e-wallet payments in Vietnam. The company’s focus on developing merchant solutions has facilitated the digital transformation of the MSME sector, enabling micro-businesses to tap into its wide user base and grow. 

He expanded services for customers, enabling account opening, savings, and loans. His strategic vision also led to diversification into sectors such as movie ticket sales and online travel agencies. The company's recognition as Vietnam's leading digital donation platform showcases his expertise in technology-driven social impact.

His leadership has also led to successful fundraising, making MoMo a unicorn and Vietnam’s largest fintech company during the pandemic. 

For his achievements, the award for Innovation Leadership Achievement in Vietnam goes to Nguyen Manh Tuong, Executive Vice Chairman and CEO of MoMo.
