UOB Thailand excels in strategic initiatives and retail expansion

UOB Thailand enhanced its retail banking segment by spearheading innovative initiatives and expanding wealth management products. These focused on customer-centric solutions leveraging technology. By expanding touchpoints and partner ecosystem networks after acquiring Citibank’s retail businesses, the bank now provides a wider range of products, services, and benefits. Citibank customers were provided with new UOB cards from April 2024 onwards. Further investment in insurance and investment products significantly boosted market presence and service offerings. Net profit for 2023 increased by 55%, and deposit balances grew by 7%.
