Maybank’s “Buyer Driven Supplier Financing leveraging Electronic Commercial Draft System” recognised as Best Financial Supply Chain Initiative

This innovative supplier finance programme leverages the Electronic Commercial Draft System (ECDS) to enhance liquidity management, reduce reliance on bank debt, extend Days Payable Outstanding from 30 days to 180 days, and optimise the balance sheet of the Anchor customer, all while simultaneously supporting SMEs in the supply chain at a lower financing cost.

For standing out due to its integration of ECDS, which allows for digital handling of drafts as well as offering flexibility in the programme's structure, Best Financial Supply Chain Initiative goes to Maybank for "Buyer Driven Supplier Financing leveraging Electronic Commercial Draft System".
