About The Summit

Why 2027 is the execution year

Financial institutions have moved beyond experimentation. The challenge now is execution: putting AI into production, moving money and liquidity in real time and strengthening resilience as risk becomes more complex.

The Summit brings together the leaders responsible for technology, payments, capital and growth to decide what must be built, governed and financed next.

Host city

Hanoi: the market context

Hanoi gives the Summit a live ASEAN setting for digital banking, capital flows, infrastructure investment and regional connectivity. It is not simply the host city — it is part of the conversation.

As banks, regulators and infrastructure players rethink growth across Southeast Asia, Vietnam provides a relevant setting for discussions on execution, inclusion, capital and cross-border connectivity.

Yes. They are the same event. The 2027 edition is being held under the name The Asian Banker Future of Finance Summit to reflect a wider programme spanning banking, AI, digital assets, payments, capital and financial infrastructure.

Organised by TAB Global, the Summit is an annual banking and financial services conference in Asia that brings together senior executives from banks and financial institutions, regulators, central banks, policymakers, technology leaders and investors to examine the forces reshaping finance.

The Asian Banker Future of Finance Summit will take place on 26–27 May 2027 in Hanoi, Vietnam, marking its 28th annual edition. The Summit rotates across Asia’s financial centres, with recent editions held in Hong Kong, Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur, and returns to Hanoi for the first time since 2016. Venue, accommodation and delegate travel information will be published on the official Summit website once confirmed.

The Summit is designed for CEOs and senior executives from banks and financial institutions, central banks, regulatory authorities, technology companies, fintech firms and professional-services organisations. In 2026, more than 800 delegates from over 200 organisations across 25 countries attended.

Three flagship conferences will run in parallel: Financial Technology 2030, The Payments Summit and Beyond Borders. They cover bank technology and AI, payment innovation, transaction banking, cross-border payments and trade finance.

The wider programme includes five half-day banking masterclasses, The ICAAP Forum, invitation-only executive roundtables and curated networking. Masterclasses and The ICAAP Forum require separate registration, while roundtable participation is subject to invitation.

The programme will examine enterprise AI, AI governance, digital transformation, payment modernisation, digital money, cross-border finance, transaction banking, cybersecurity, regulatory change, and capital, liquidity and stress management.

Participants can compare strategies with banking peers, hear directly from regulators and industry leaders, assess emerging technologies and build senior-level relationships across Asia’s financial-services community.

Register through the Summit’s online registration and payment page. A regular delegate pass includes access to the three flagship conferences, the exhibition and networking areas, event materials, lunches and refreshments. Masterclasses, The ICAAP Forum and invitation-only roundtables are not included. Group and institutional packages are available for banks and financial institutions.

Sponsorship and exhibition opportunities include conference partnerships, thought-leadership sessions, executive roundtables, exhibition space and event branding. Contact Usama Mohd at [email protected] to request the sponsorship prospectus and discuss available packages.
