Citi today announced that Rob Chan will take up the role of head of equity capital markets (ECM) Syndicate for Asia effective immediately. Chan has been with Citi since 2003 and is currently responsible for Asia Pacific (APAC) equity-linked origination where he has built a market leading franchise in the region. In his new role, he will work closely with banking, markets and risk teams in the marketing and distribution of all our equity and equity-linked transactions in Asia. Chan will continue to run equity-linked origination until a replacement is announced. He will report to Kenneth Chow, Asia head of ECM origination and products and Harish Raman, Asia head of ECM execution and solutions at Citi. Re-disseminated by The Asian Banker
